First Post!

My first post - how exciting!

Let me explain a few things!

First - Who is Anne Marie? Anne Marie is a combination of a few people.  Anne Marie came to be when my sister and I were joking about starting a cupcake store.  My middle name is Anne and her middle name is Marie. We thought Anne Marie would be a great name for a cupcake store! At that time my photography was called Real Life Photography and that name was just not sitting right with me for what I intended to do with my photography.  The name Real Life Photography seemed hard and I wanted something that felt soft and inviting.  Anne Marie, the real Anne Marie is my Grandma.  Growing up she was so caring, always inviting and I was named after her.  I thought to my self what a great name for a photography business, after someone with the traits I want my business to hold.  So a new photography business is born!

Second - I want to thank you for following my blog.  I cannot promise I will post every day however as I receive more business, I will begin to blog more! So please be patient with me and we will grow together!

Finally - if anyone is interested in getting some photos done I would be happy to do them!  I specialize in senior portraits and couple photos however I would like to branch out into wedding photography (as I was/am an assistant with another photography business and have grown to love weddings!)  Please if you are interested contact me at ashleyaklaasen@gmail.com or visit my on facebook!
